A "travelogue" is a memoir or story detailing a journey, and this album serves as our first "acoustic travelogue" by touching on the many kinds of music that have shaped who we are as individuals and as a band.
The title "Acoustic Travelogue" feels right for our first album, which we recorded at the beginning of our journey together as a group, and the end of our journey as undergrad students at Berklee College of Music.
The seven tracks on "Acoustic Travelogue" run a musical gamut; two Brazilian pieces, two Venezuelan pieces, two Jazz pieces, and one Newgrass piece. Four of the pieces are originals composed by Noah or by Maurizio, and three of them are interpretations of pieces by some of their favorite artists; Saxophonist Wayne Shorter, mandolinist David Grisman, and pianist Egberto Gismonti.
We hope you can let this "Acoustic Travelogue" transport you all over the world while you work from home, care for each other, and focus on staying safe in the coming weeks.
